Xenogenesis - James Cameron first movie
«Xenogenesis» - James Cameron's first job in the film industry, this short film, by which he was able to get to the studio of Roger Corman. He dreamed of a fantasy from the moment he first saw the film "2001: A Space Odyssey". His dreams have gained a clear shape in 1977 with the release of "Star Wars". After reading the book «Screenplay», James realized that now he has everything in order to create his own first film. Writing the scenario for the short film did not take long, he quit his job, borrowed money to hire the necessary equipment and camera, and with the support of his friends made the first "masterpiece" under the terrible title «Xenogenesis».
Short, lasting about 12 minutes and constitutes not a film, but rather a great little episode of the film, in which we observe the action, somewhere in the middle and the beginning and end are unknown. The plot is not convoluted and stupid, two astronauts travel through the universe in search of suitable place for human life. Astronaut named Raj - he is a cyborg, and Lori - an ordinary woman. Even in this small movie we can see a small link in style, with the movie "Terminator".
